Conan O'brien on tour

For Jason's birthday I got tickets to see Conan on tour in Las Vegas! I tried really really hard to keep it a secret. Sadly, I wasn't even able to make it week without telling him. I have never seen that boy so excited! It's gonna be a really fun night, I can't wait to go! It's May 1st at the Palm's resort. Get your tickets and meet us there.

Welcome to my crib.

I've had a few requests to put up some pictures of my humble abode. To be honest, the only thing worth seeing is my bedroom. The rest of my house is of no importance. (AKA-not that cute.)

Not to be rude but I have the world's most comfortable bed. It's like sleeping on celestial clouds.

My room is about the size of a shoe box. I feel really lucky to have all these wonderful shelves. They keep me VERY organized.

I absolutely LOVE this picture that's hanging on my wall. It's entitled, Almond Branches in Bloom by Vincent Van Gogh. It's one of the prettiest shades of blue I've ever seen and it is definitely the focal point of my room. (Those beautiful roses there on the left are from the boy....for no good reason. I sure do love him.)

How pathetic is this closet? Do you see the mad pile of shoes on the ground? I guess I shouldn't complain too much, I've definitely had to deal with smaller closets. Maybe it's the amount of clothes I have? Never.

Here's my, "get ready" station. I sit right there on the ground and do my hair and make-up. I actually really love it.

Hare Krishna Comparison..

This picture was taken in 2007-my very first time every attending a color throwing festival. I am hating my life.

Here is this year's picture. After 3 years attending, I've learned the in's and out's of the festival. Don't I look like I'm having a lot more fun?

Festival of Colors

On Saturday, Beth, Christine, Jason and I all went to the Hare Krishna festival of colors. Jason was our personal photographer since he chose not to participate in the actual throwing of the colors (He's asthmatic...and allergic. boringgggg). There were thousands of people there! We had to park 2 miles away and trek our way to the Hare Krishna temple. We got there just in time though to get dirty! Isn't it a pretty/dirty though? Purple was my favorite color to get hit with.

milk-a-what?!?!

Lindsay Lohan is suing E*Trade for 100 million dollars because she feels like the baby named Lindsey in this video is modeled after herself and it is causing her sufficient damages. Let me repeat...100 MILLION DOLLARS! (Does that remind any of else of Dr. Evil from Austin Powers?)

This was the best laugh I had today. That girl is absolutely bonkers.

I love She & Him. I love Zooey Deschanel. And I love this music video. It doesn't involve deep thinking or meaning. It's just light and fun and it leaves you in a good mood. <3

8 Minute Abs

It's free. It's 8 minutes. It's from the 90's.

I did my first set today. I think I could handle doing this everyday. Wash board ab's here I come.

Things that are blog worthy-

1. I gave in. I did it. I jumped on the band wagon if you will. I am the newest owner of the iphone. I was very hesitant at first. I realized though (with the influence of my sweet boyfriend) that I'd pay almost just as much for any other smart phone. I must say, I am LOVING it. Best purchase of 2010, hands down. How did I go so long without one???

2. Running SUXXX so far. Ugh. I haven't hit the 3 week mark yet but that's when it'll get easier.

3. The Academy Awards are tomorrow! Woot! I'll be watching from the red carpet pre-show right to the very end.

4. Alice in Wonderland was very good but I don't think it was THAT amazing to have to tease the world for a whole year with previews.

5. My hair is finally past my shoulders. (Let me tell you, getting it this far is quite the accomplishment.)

6. Summer is just around the corner! Yipee!
